01 Working with us from the US
An offshore software development company in India, for US companies
Tailwebs is an offshore software development company in India, in Bengaluru, building apps, dashboards and AI products for US companies, including Mr Delivery's ordering and delivery platform and the web app for Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants. A team member is assigned within 10 days of approval, with no hiring cost.

- Built for a US healthcare client
- Prices in US dollars
02 US work
What our software development company in India has built for US clients
Mr Delivery's ordering and delivery ecosystem in Austin, Texas, acquired by Delivery.com in July 2019; the web app for Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants, a US healthcare client; and Med Office Direct, end to end. Metropolitan Anesthesia's public marketing website is not our work.

Their whole manual process moved to it, cutting manual effort by 80%.

Med Office Direct
A medical-supplies store and a Practo-style portal, built end to end
How we work with healthcare teams in India and the US is on healthcare app development; web apps like this one are on web app development.
04 The handoff
Working across the time gap: the overnight handoff
The gap puts the Bengaluru working day in your night: at 09:00 in Bengaluru it is late evening on the East Coast and evening on the West Coast.
Your evening
At the end of your day, you leave decisions and priorities on the shared board.
Your morning
A written update is ready by your morning, with a build you can try where the work allows.
The overlap
Questions that need a conversation are batched into the overlap call.
Outside the call windows, message us on WhatsApp at +91 70440 74445, write to hello@tailwebs.com or call +91 95907 08339. On a Care and Growth plan, critical issues get a response within 4 business hours.
How a project runs from the first call to launch is on how we work.
06 Contracts and code
How do contracts and IP work?
With three documents signed before the build, and you own the custom code once it is paid for. The full terms are answered once, on the FAQ.
Mutual NDA
What it coversSigned before discovery on request; we have a standard mutual NDA ready.
Master services agreement
What it coversThe binding terms for the whole relationship, from payment to ownership, warranty and support.
Written proposal
What it coversThe scope, price and timeline of each piece of work, agreed in writing before it starts.
Your code and IP
What it coversYou own all custom code, designs and content once paid in full; our own pre-existing tools are licensed to you for the project.
Read them on the FAQ: ownership and handover and confidentiality and NDAs. Working with us from the UK instead? See UK companies.
07 Health and privacy
Health data and US privacy: what we know, what we don’t claim
We plan for the rules that apply to your data before the build, and we say plainly what we can sign. What follows is general knowledge, not legal advice: your compliance lead confirms what applies.
General knowledge · not legal advice
Federal and sector rules
Which of these apply depends on your organisation and the data your product holds.
- The US has no single federal privacy law like the GDPR. Obligations come from sector and state laws: see the FTC’s privacy and security guidance.
- For health data, HIPAA can apply to covered entities and their business associates that handle protected health information: see hhs.gov/hipaa.
State privacy laws
Which of these apply depends on where your users live and what you collect.
- State privacy laws, such as California’s, can apply to consumer data: see oag.ca.gov for California.
Our practice
Production runs in cloud accounts you own, in the US where possible, and a data processing agreement is available.
- If your project handles protected health information, we agree the data-handling terms with your compliance lead before work starts.
- We use test data, not real patient data, in development environments.
Knowledge, not a badge
Your compliance lead decides which rules apply and signs off, and we build to their requirements. We do not claim HIPAA certification, and we tell you plainly what we can sign.
How we handle data is on data and security.
