Edtech app development: learning apps and platforms that students actually use

Tailwebs is an edtech app development company building learning apps, admissions and application-tracking platforms, and learning management systems for edtech startups, universities and study-abroad services. We design for engagement on low-cost phones, live and recorded content, assessments and payments, and for children's data rules under India's DPDP Act. Our MVP Launch package is ₹8–25 lakh.

Built Proodle, a university admissions platform we built end to end.

02 What we build

Educational app development: what we build

Learning, admissions and training products for startups, institutions and the people around each student.

What changes for you
  • Students who come back. Short lessons, progress tracking and nudges designed for daily use.

  • Admissions without spreadsheets. Applications, documents and deadlines tracked for students and counsellors.

  • Teachers and admins who save time. Course building, assessments and reports in one place.

  • Children’s data handled properly. Consent and tracking rules for young users, as your legal adviser confirms them, built into sign-up and analytics.

03 Education work

Have we built for education before?

Yes: Proodle, a university admissions platform we built end to end. It gave universities an App Manager and insights into where each student was in admissions, and student interest in its universities rose 70%.

04 Admissions season

Will it hold up when every student logs in at once?

It should, if it is designed for the worst day rather than the average one. Education traffic is spiky: on deadline day and on results day much of a cohort arrives at once, so those two days set the plan.

  1. Shortlist

  2. Application

  3. Documents

  4. Deadlines

    Peak moment

Load tested before the season opens, and uploads are queued so a slow connection never loses a form.

  5. Counsellor review

  6. Offer

    Peak moment

Results and offer pages are cached, so the whole cohort can read them at once without the platform slowing down.

  7. Enrolment

05 Rules we design for

What do children’s data rules mean for our app?

They change onboarding and analytics first: who has to give consent, and what the app may track. Your legal adviser confirms what applies before build.
