01 Mobile app developers

Hire dedicated mobile app developers for Android, iOS and cross-platform apps

Hire dedicated mobile app developers from Tailwebs for Android and iOS apps, in Flutter or React Native. Tell us about your app and we match the platform skills it needs. A developer is assigned within 10 days of approval, with no hiring cost, for ₹1.8–4 lakh a month. We also publish and run our own apps on both stores.

02 Pick by codebase

Hire dedicated mobile developers by your app's codebase

Start from the stack your app already uses. Each route leads to the engineers for that codebase.

  1. “Our app is built in Flutter.”

    Go toHire Flutter developers

Engineers for one Dart codebase on both stores: what to check, sample profiles and the release work they own.

  2. “Our app is built in React Native.”

    Go toHire React Native developers

Engineers who fit a team that already writes JavaScript or TypeScript.

  3. “Our app is native: Kotlin or Java, Swift or Objective-C.”

Go toNative Android and iOS apps

Native Android and iOS developers, on this page.

  4. “We don't have an app yet.”

    Go toHow each stack fits

Our technology pages explain how the stack is chosen, before anyone is hired.

03 Native apps

Hire dedicated Android app developers and a dedicated iPhone developer

Android and iOS are both on the list of technologies we build in, and we have shipped native apps: WAC's rebuilt app is native on both platforms, and Homa's customer app is native Android. Hire for one platform, or both.

A native developer works in the language your app is already written in, so nothing has to be rewritten to add capacity.

04 Sample profiles

Sample native profiles: Android and iOS

Each anonymised profile lists the same fields side by side: role, experience, platform skills, sectors and store releases. There are no names and no photos.

05 Apps we have shipped

Has Tailwebs shipped apps to the stores itself?

Yes. Tailwebs publishes three consumer apps of its own on Google Play and the App Store, and has built mobile apps for clients, from WAC's native app to Homa's connected-device app.

06 First assignments

Mobile application development outsourcing: work you can hand over

These are typical first assignments for a dedicated mobile developer. Every profile also covers the shared mobile basics: push notifications, offline storage, analytics and crash reporting.

Typical first work

  1. Apps on both stores that need one developer, or a pair, to maintain them.
  2. An app rejected in store review that needs fixing and resubmitting.
  3. Several small apps for field staff, customers or partners, with no in-house mobile team.
  4. A pre-launch app that needs hands for QA, release builds and the first weeks of fixes.
  5. An app built by someone else, starting with a review of the code and the store set-up in the first week.
  6. A native Android app that needs new features and Android version updates.
  7. A native iOS app that needs work before a new iOS release.

07 FAQ

Questions about hiring mobile developers.

Which mobile developer should I hire?
Hire in the stack your app already uses: Flutter or React Native. For a new app, our technology pages explain how to choose, or you can book a call.
Can I hire dedicated Android app developers, or a dedicated iPhone developer?
Yes. You can hire a native Android developer, a native iOS developer or both, each on their own monthly plan.
Who owns the App Store and Google Play accounts?
You do. Production runs in your own store accounts where possible, and we can manage them on request.
Can you fix an app that was rejected in store review?
Yes: a store-rejection fix is a short job, billed at the hourly rate in the hire terms, and updates to a live app are routine work. For an app built by someone else, we start with a review of the code and the store set-up, then fix what the store flagged.
Has Tailwebs published its own apps?
Yes: Kaipo (built in React Native), Fincurry and ApnaStaff (both built in Flutter) are on Google Play and the App Store, published by Tailwebs Technology.

08 Request profiles

What should you send when you request mobile developer profiles?

Send four things, and we can match a mobile developer to your app on the first pass.
